Nana hone diamond groomers

Nana hone diamond groomers, I have the 50, 25, 3 µm nano hones. They’re perfect for my maintenance of my EDC pocket knives. I can sharpen any steel to a superbly sharp edge with these three grit hones. I highly recommend nano products.

Rock-solid stability that completely changes sharpening

Compared to placing stones on a Shapton Kuromaku case or using inexpensive rubber stone holders, this stone stage is on a completely different level.

Even the Light version feels solid and well-weighted, staying firmly planted on the work surface with absolutely no movement during sharpening. There is zero wobble, which makes a huge difference in control and consistency.

In sharpening, I believe a stable stone stage is just as important as the stone itself. This has significantly improved both comfort and precision in my sharpening work. Highly recommended.

Excellent handy tool for maintenance of kitchen cutlery. Long broad surface is also excellent for literally “truing up” edges on a wide variety of edges.

Nano Strop - 10 Micron - 475 mm

As a professional sharpener, I own several Nano Hone products, and the Nano Strop (10 Micron / 475 mm) is a fantastic tool. Efficiency and consistent results matter in my shop. As a finishing tool, this product does not disappoint.

The tactile feedback is clear - you can feel exactly when it touches the apex on the lightest trailing strokes. There is ample surface area on the 475 mm version to handle large scimitars and brisket slicers, while allowing me to index the edge bias (scratch pattern) for push cutting (forward bias), chopping (neutral bias), or slicing (aft bias).

The 10-micron grit is a sweet spot to quickly hone and restore a serviceable edge back to sticky sharp with minimal effort. Sharpening an edge is only half the job; completely removing the burr to form a lasting apex is what separates true quality from the rest. This is a great tool for any serious sharpener.

If you want the best designed, simple and strong sink bridge this is the one. Does exactly what you need it to do: quickly and easily adjusts to whatever length sink (Mine is 15") - locks into place with a light turn of the stage button and then holds the stone stage with your stone on top. No fuss, no play at all and barely any real setup or maintenance is involved. I've been using mine for about a week now and love the thing already. Just makes sharpening over the sink idiot proof and enjoyable even with the messiest of waterstones.

The bridge itself is stupid strong and tough, with a beautiful finish that easily washes both inside and out so there's no worry of rust, rot or grit clogging any sort of mechanism. Add to that: absolutely no annoying ****, springs, clamps, cheap plastic or pot metal in sight. Just a brilliantly simple and well made product that I consider a lifetime tool - Seriously you'll never wear this thing out or have to buy anything similar ever again!

Pros:

- Very strong and remarkably stable! Like an extension of your countertop once locked in.
- Lovely black finish (Hardcoated aluminum)
- Fit and finish is exceptional
- Air dries fairly quickly
-Works with Nano Hone whetstones but also any other stone that can be mounted to one of their aluminum backing plates, making this sink bridge ultimately more versatile than others at accomodating stones of different sizes.
-Nano Hone customer support after the fact
-Made in the USA!
-Good price for what you're getting considering all of the above, and the high cost of everything these days.

Cons:

-The price. (Yes it's alot of money, but you are paying for a quality usa made part built with pride and designed exceptionally well that will likely outlast it's owner.)
-Pretty much requires the use of other Nano Hone products to work as intended. (Most notably the stone stage) Though other stone holders can still sit on top due to the super clean design.

That's really it. If you're on the fence and own other Nano Hone products I can't recommend this product enough. Worth every cent.
