Beautiful edge maintenance tool😎

Excellent handy tool for maintenance of kitchen cutlery. Long broad surface is also excellent for literally “truing up” edges on a wide variety of edges.

Outstanding performance

I use these files for deburring and touch ups on machine blades as well as cutlery. The feel of the resin material is unmatched for providing feedback as you’re honing. I have both of these files with the four different grits and use them almost daily in my sharpening business.

It certainly surprised me!

So at first I did not believe it would be able to cut some my harder steels ie rex121,maxamet, 15V any of the steels that typically require diamond abrasives but I was wrong it does cut them and quite well too! Now the Nano Hone strop thing is gimmicky and did not work for me at all, in the future I will be purchasing the entire set of these bench stones and or looking into some vitrified diamond similar to my Venev's

Truer is a Game Changer

If you don’t want to drag out the leather strops and diamond sprays, then the Truer is the hone for you. The double sided diamond resin surfaces are perfect for getting both a slightly toothy edge or a refined, hair popping polished edge on your blades. I’m glad I ordered one for the shop and one for my knife room to make touch ups quick and easy. Going to order a couple more for gifts! Thanks for another great product, Hap!
