Hap designed diamond resin PA plates while working together with one of our favorite scissor sharpeners. The PA plates make adjustments to the pivot area a snap. Once a pivot area is set up correctly, the ride line can be cut in to the same plane. This is a common repair on grooming shears for animals because pivot area tends to get a lot of wear. This is a perfect product for scissor sharpeners.

Scissor sharpening gets much easier and fun with our PA plates.

They sit comfortably on Nano Hone Stage (sold separately).

My favorite finishing stones

These are my favorite finishing stones, for all types of knives. They cut a bit slowly relative to their grit compared to a magnesia or vitrified AlOx stone, but I think that's actually advantageous when deburring. They work great for high MC-type carbide powdered steels since they're diamond, as well. They have a bit of a strange slippery feel when you sharpen, which is unusual but nothing bad. They have some of the best audible feedback for angle consistency I've ever experienced.

Imperative

Just bought the 25 and and 100 micron. I use this to replace my ceramic rod. What a DIFFERENCE! Every time i use the knife, i just run 5/7 passes. It keeps the knife SHARP! I use the Nano pond and whetstones for serious work.

This is a MUST HAVE. I

So far, so very good.

I love them after a couple of uses. Great feedback and you can see the results. I haven’t had any issues with the stones loading up after a good thinning session. Another great product from the nanohone team.
