Rock-solid stability that completely changes sharpening
Compared to placing stones on a Shapton Kuromaku case or using inexpensive rubber stone holders, this stone stage is on a completely different level.
Even the Light version feels solid and well-weighted, staying firmly planted on the work surface with absolutely no movement during sharpening. There is zero wobble, which makes a huge difference in control and consistency.
In sharpening, I believe a stable stone stage is just as important as the stone itself. This has significantly improved both comfort and precision in my sharpening work. Highly recommended.

Beautiful edge maintenance tool😎
Excellent handy tool for maintenance of kitchen cutlery. Long broad surface is also excellent for literally “truing up” edges on a wide variety of edges.

Got to use the nano truer on a few blades this week, and wow, the med/fine combo is so perfect for my needs. I keep most of my knives decently sharp(sarcasm, they are all razors) but the edge off the truer has such a bite on it, even the 3micron. Recommending to a slew of people already. I have some of the nanostrops, and the micron level on the truer fits perfectly between what I have already. That being said, the jump from 50 to 3 micron works, toothy, scary sharp. Love it!

Definitely start with this stone. But its not good as a standalone. Most of my knives stay sharp, so i started with the 25 micron to finish. Ended up wanting more grit and the 100 didnt remove enough material but theres a huge difference between this and the 100. The Nanohone base is impressive, and while none of their stones work well by themselves, having several of their stones makes it all worth it!

Stones 1000, 3000 and 6000
Between the Nano stones (1000, 3000, 6000), and Hap's very helpful techniques, I am getting much sharper edges, much more quickly, with much less hassle than with my old water stones and old techniques. Very very happy!!! I'd also like to mention that Hap was generous with his time and his advice helped significantly ( following edge).
